Republic of Moldova launches an investment program
In July 2018, Henley & Partners has been awarded an exclusive concession by competitive tender with regard to the design, implementation and international promotion of the citizenship-by-investment program of the Republic of Moldova.
This new program will allow investors to gain Moldovan citizenship through a non-refundable contribution to the country: EUR 135,000 for a single applicant, EUR 150,000 for a couple, EUR 180.000 for a family of four and EUR 190,000 for families of five or more.
An additional government fee is applicable (EUR 5,000 for a single applicant, EUR 2,500 for a spouse, EUR 1,000 for a child and EUR 5,000 for parents) as well as due diligence fees (EUR 6,000 for the main applicant and EUR 5,000 for a spouse, children over 16 and parents).
Application review process will take no more than 90 days.
Moldovan passport allows visa-free travel to 121 countries, including member states of the Schengen area, Turkey and Russia. The country is also striving to become a candidate member of the European Union.
The official launch is scheduled for November 2018 at the 12th Henley & Partners International Conference in Dubai.
